And if NOT giving advice straight away to their problems, or talking about feelings, is what is necessary, then amke a change and do it dammit. Have some self control and make a slight change in your own behaviour. You'll open your own mind, and you won't think it's chainging yourself after you do it a few times. Besides, if it helps you meet some good people, both men and women, then what's bad about it?For me, the single thing which stands out is asking a single question to women- How do you FEEL about that? The ladies love to talk about feelings and it NEVER fails to get a response and always helps keep the conversation going.Overall a good and useful read, if only for the single tip above.

What I like about this book is the emphasis and teachings about empathy. it will teach you how to be a better partner. It teaches eye contact, listening, empathy, understanding. All things that should teach you how to engage with someone better. But true love isn't about making people fall in love with you.

I've been eagerly awaiting this book. After consuming books 1 & 2, it arrived! I sat down and finished it in one reading. While the book is fiction, being Biblically based is something I enjoy. Again, it's fiction, but a lot of truth at the same time. Of course, no one knows when the end times will occur, but for non believers it illustrates exceedingly well why faith is so very important.The story line flows very well, the characters (introduced in a previous series) are well conceived and it's fun to watch them grow. The author is very good, and I have to say he's well versed, literally and figuratively. Not just in the Bible, but in weapons, weapons handling, prepping, and manages to put it all together in a fast paced, action packed setting.Buy this book, and the entire series. You'll be happy you did!

Angel of the Abyss: The Days of Elijah, Book 3I keep saying this series can't get any better; it does. I haven't finished listening but I know it's more than wonderful. These stories are wonderful reminders that books can be written without the gratuitous language, violence and X-rated scenes. I love the verses at the beginning of each chapter and I'm a so happy about the versions, Thank you Mark!I've listened/read all the Days of Noah and Days of Elijah books so far and hope there are more in the future. These people have become friends and the narrator, Kevin Pierce, is the only one to read these stories.Bring the tissues.

I don't think Mark Godwin can write a bad story. His words are so visual. I wasn't much of a reader, but my mom turned me onto "The Days of Noah" and I couldn't put the books down. I purchased my first gun, from reading this book. The one the FBI agent, Mr. Smith recommended. I then read, "The Days of Elijah" and when they meet Moses, I was just as excited and in awe as the characters in the book. "Seven Cows Ugly and Gaunt," was truly an eye opener of what the US could become if we don't bring God back into our lives. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I'm becoming a "Prepper!" There were times when I would have to remind myself that what was happening in the book, was not really happening in the world! Now I'm reading, "The Economic Collapse Chronicles" and they are just as exciting. I think if I had to do over, I would read the Chronicles first, Seven Cows Ugly and Gaunt, The days of Noah, and then the Days of Elijah last. Trust me when I say, YOU CAN NOT PUT THESE STORIES DOWN. They are fictional characters but the history of America and where it is going, as well as the Bible and God's promises to Believers and non believers is FACTUAL. The Days of Elijah takes you chapter by chapter of the Book of Revelations as well.

I love Mark Goodwin's books! These are scripture based apocalyptic stories of the end times. I guess I never considered the actual aspects of the end days. Living off the grid, trading for gold or silver or bartering goods for goods or guns was initially a shock to me. But these stories make so much sense. Angel of the Abyss (great name), the third book of the Days of Elijah does not disappoint. The trials Everette and Courtney go through seem so unreal at times but that is what that whole time period is, unreal. I love their obedience and commitment to God and to each other. There is danger everywhere for people that don't have the "mark". The planet has been torn apart by seals, judgments and plagues. There is nail biting fear and heart pounding adrenalin as the story builds to the end. You won't want to miss this whole series. Start with the Days of Noah and then move on to the Days of Elijah. You will not be sorry.

I thoroughly enjoy all of Mark Goodwin's books. I have all of them either in paperback or kindle format. I loved this latest read because I have enjoyed the main characters "maturing" in their new lives. The story line is very enjoyable, the characters are believable and likable. I LOVE the Christian slant and the associated Bible verses. I can read these over and over again!! As always, I am being patient waiting for the next installment!! Keep up the good work Mark!!

This series is so incredible that I wish I could read it every day. When I started 'Angel of the Abyss', I swore that I would only read a couple of chapters a night, just to make it last longer. Admittedly, I failed!! I reached the end in two nights. Sob. I did Not want the story to end. The action is purely non-stop for Everett and his group, so get ready to Rock & Roll. It is sheer brilliance, along with some help from above, that gets them out of one disaster after another. Readers will love the introduction of some new characters and thoroughly enjoy the quirky nature of the two prophets. 'Angel of the Abyss' was pure joy to read and I can't wait for Mark Goodwin to write more.Mark: Please write faster!!!

Thought Fall would never get here for Book Three release. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two books and wondered how book three would detail the journey. Must admit I was caught off guard with a book four but I am not disappointed. I like that Make has taken careful thought to communicate the message through the story and did not take a shortcut just to finish. For anyone who is knew tho thier faith or wanted to always know more about the coming times Mark has done a great job of showing the path the scriptures detail about the end journey. Can't wait for Book four and the next book series. Very happy that Mark continues to use Kevin Pierce for the audio narration. He truly brings this story to life. Thanks Mark and Kevin.
